Product Description

The grapes for this wine originated mainly from our estate property in Dry Creek Valley, with just a little of our Alexander Valley fruit blended in. Harvest dates were October 2, 10 and 12, 2009. The wine was fermented in temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks. The tanks were pumped over twice a day. After malolactic fermentation and blending, the new wine was racked to 60 gallon French and American oak barrels and aged for 17 months as separate lots. After aging, the wine was blended from individual lots into the finished blend. After a light filtration, the total production of 608 cases was bottled on August 15, 2011.
