Originally a tobacco field, this now mature vineyard and boutique winery produces wine following 1st Growth production guidelines. The 2010 Red Blend has a deep ruby color with aromas of clove, black pepper and plum on the nose and dark fruits on the palate. With just under 2 years aging in French oak barrels, this full-bodied blend has soft, sweet and balanced tannins. 2010 was a warmer than average year with dry conditions leading to an early harvest under textbook conditions. A percentage of Selendi earnings go to support an all girl's vocational school in the Akhisar province of Turkey that the winery owner build and donated to the government.
